Responsibilities

Identify and pursue high-quality project leads that align with the company’s market focus and strategic goals
Cultivate new relationships and maintain ongoing engagement with past and current clients, architects, developers, and referral networks
Evaluate prospective clients and projects to ensure strong fit with firm values, capacity, and team dynamics
Represent the firm in meetings, site visits, industry events, and networking engagements as needed
Collaborate with internal team members to shape proposals, pitch materials, and scope development
Provide feedback and strategic insight on project intake, company positioning, and client experience workflows
Mentor emerging team members on client interaction and professional presence
Track outreach efforts and contribute to ongoing marketing and business development strategies
Maintain a pulse on industry trends, local markets, and evolving client needs

Required

20+ years of experience in high-end residential construction, design-build, or related fields
Strong interest in the design build process and its unique workflows
Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, or senior leadership roles
Strong industry network and ability to build rapport and trust with high-level clients and collaborators
Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with a talent for storytelling and persuasion
High-level understanding of project delivery methods, including construction and design workflows
Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining close alignment with leadership goals
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and mentorship skills

Preferred

Experience with CRM or client tracking tools a plus
