Technical Support Engineer

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a collegiate Greek-letter fraternity with a commitment to leadership and community service. They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting their IT infrastructure, providing exceptional service to the organization.

Civic and Social Organizations

Responsibilities

Assist in Managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, DNS, file servers, and CRM
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues on workstations and laptops running Windows 10/11
Monitor and maintain network connectivity, including wireless access points and printers
Assist in managing backup solutions to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness
Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including setting up user accounts and permissions
Maintain Internal and External relationships
Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations
Respond to membership inquiries via ticketing system
Collaborate with teams to streamline processes
Ensure quality and timely support for members
Executes any special assignments and projects as delegated by IHQ Executives

Required

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field experience
3+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
Strong knowledge of Virtualization, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, and file server management
Experience with CRM systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows workstations and laptops
Familiarity with networking concepts, including wireless access points and printers
Experience with backup solutions, preferably Synology
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to learn modern technologies independently

Preferred

Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus
