Responsibilities
Understanding and becoming an expert on the current systems used and how they interact with the products, tooling, production software, and quality systems
Innovating, developing, and utilizing new manufacturing techniques, software, and equipment capable of solving complex problems
Engaging and collaborating with new product design teams to develop manufacturing tools and methods to meet the unique needs of the new product launches
Training production engineers and personnel on proper utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of new processes and tools to assure their proper care and usage in the production environment
Interacting with a variety of technologies and software, including but not limited to Distributed Cloud Services, Desktop and Web applications, software development tools (C/C++/C#/.NET, SQL, Python, Atlassian Tools, PLC Programing), instrumentation and measurement devices (such as signal generators and meters)
Collaborating with peers across the globe to align processes between facilities and establishing the best practices
Analyzing, debugging, and optimizing the performance of current manufacturing systems and processes to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
3+ years of hands-on experience in a related field
Ability to travel up to 10% internationally
Preferred
Electrical and/or software development experience for tooling
Fabrication knowledge and experience
Experience with implementation of automation in manufacturing environment
3D CAD Modeling, Computer Vision or equivalent experience
