Responsibilities

Serves as primary security compliance agent

Performs vulnerability/risk assessments of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle to support the RMF authorization process

Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides recommendations and technical support in solving these problems

Assesses and supports implementation of solutions that meet network security requirements

Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle

Develops and reviews RMF packages

Conducts network and vulnerability scans

Analyzes network scans, vulnerability scans, and traffic logs

Implements STIGs

Monitors network traffic, user activity

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related discipline

An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this opportunity

At least one-year of relevant experience performing Navy IA or cybersecurity functions

Experience with vulnerability/risk assessment tools and techniques

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Experience with RMF package development and implementation

Experience with STIG implementation

Experience with network traffic analysis and user activity monitoring

Certification in information security or a related field (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
