Responsibilities
Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and establish clear acceptance criteria
Assess and evaluate operational and technological benefits, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clearly communicating value to business and technical stakeholders
Implement and continuously improve Agile frameworks and best practices (Scrum, Kanban) within teams and across the organization
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption
Foster trust-based relationships across technical and business units, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve organizational goals
Track and manage project resources, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery within scope, quality, and budget constraints
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reporting, to provide real-time updates and transparency
Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring expectations and requirements are clearly understood and effectively executed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5-7 years as a Project Manager or Scrum Master
Extensive experience managing enterprise-wide technology-driven initiatives, including Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices, Scrum frameworks, and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Ability to effectively liaise between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management, facilitating seamless alignment and project transparency
Skilled in identifying and managing dependencies and risks within technical projects
Proven ability to operate effectively within both technology and business environments, fostering collaboration and shared understanding
Preferred
Formal training or certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies preferred
Familiarity with BPM, Waterfall, Agile, and Lean methodologies; Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) highly desirable
Experience within financial services, particularly mortgage servicing/origination, is preferred
