Responsibilities
Primary Source Verification: Perform rigorous initial and re-credentialing of providers. This includes verifying state licensure, DEA certifications, education/residency, malpractice history, hospital privileges, and checking for previous sanctions
Database Integrity: Maintain the credentialing database and HCS data files. Ensure effective dates and network indicators are accurate and current
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
Associate's Degree OR two years of additional related work experience
High level of computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and complex databases
Previous experience specifically with credentialing / re-credentialing
