Insight Global is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of secure, scalable consumer-facing identity solutions. This role involves deep technical engineering, platform ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to modernize authentication and authorization processes across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement secure, scalable IAM solutions for consumer-facing applications

Lead integrations using modern identity protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC) and federation platforms (Ping, Okta, Entra, Descope)

Automate provisioning, configuration, and identity workflows using Python, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools

Manage and optimize IAM capabilities across AWS IAM, Azure AD/Entra, and GCP IAM

Drive standardization, automation, and best practices across identity systems

Oversee daily IAM operations, troubleshooting complex authentication and access issues

Partner with cloud, application, and security teams to align IAM architecture with business needs

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership across IAM initiatives

Support identity-related compliance, risk reduction, and Zero Trust principles

Required

5+ years hands-on experience in IAM engineering and operations

Proven expertise with multiple federation platforms (Ping, Okta, Entra, Descope, etc.)

Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and identity architecture patterns

Ability to design and deliver enterprise IAM integrations at scale

Automation experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar

Hands-on experience with Azure AD/Entra, and/or GCP IAM

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices

Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and mentorship abilities

Preferred

Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, Okta Certified, Ping Identity Certified

Experience with Identity Governance (IGA) platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt)

Experience with Privileged Access Management (CyberArk, BeyondTrust)

Multi-cloud identity security experience

Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and passwordless authentication

Experience designing IAM for high-volume consumer applications
