The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for leading and delivering civil and structural engineering projects ranging from small developments to complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure and structural systems.

Responsibilities
Lead civil and structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met
Perform advanced structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, timber, foundations, retaining walls, paving, drainage, and site development projects
Manage project teams by assigning tasks, setting milestones, resolving technical challenges, and monitoring overall project performance
Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, design criteria, and technical documentation
Develop design concepts, construction documents, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
Coordinate design efforts with internal engineers, drafting technicians, and external disciplines
Conduct design reviews and quality checks in accordance with internal quality metrics and best practices
Participate in field investigations, inspections, and rehabilitation assessments of existing structures
Resolve complex design issues through field verification, engineering analysis, and detailed review of work prepared by others
Prepare quantity takeoffs and support the development of project pricing, proposals, and negotiated proformas
Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas required
Minimum of 6–10 years of experience working in a collaborative engineering environment
Experience supporting or working on federal projects and meeting applicable federal requirements
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a TWIC card preferred
