Responsibilities
Assists with updating data associated with product conversions, and participates in the design or maintenance of par location item layout
Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensuring products match packing slips and identifying delivery locations
Completes replenishment, picking, and receiving processes in the computer to maintain accurate records
Tags capital equipment upon receipt and communicates necessary information to purchasing
Resolves invoice discrepancies related to purchase orders and prepares items for return
Delivers supplies, equipment, and packages to customers, ensuring accurate location delivery
Picks up return items, performs daily par cart inventories, and delivers supplies to assigned areas
Establishes relationships with clinical departments to ensure collaboration, and provides feedback on par level adjustments
Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked
Disburses materials to various facility locations according to established routes and schedules
Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner
Qualification
Required
Possesses basic math skills
Pays attention to detail
Communicates clearly and effectively in English. Can communicate directly with delivery drivers and clinicians
Has computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Can identify, sort and count accurately
Critical thinking and analytical mindset
Exhibits familiarity with shipping and billing procedures
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize departmental priorities
Ability to process large shipments in an organized manner
Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Works well with a team
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
Handles discrepancies or shipping problems calmly and politely
Manages time efficiently
Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills
Demonstrates awareness of proper receiving and storage safety procedures
High School Grad or Equiv
1+ year of related work experience in supply chain or customer service setting
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to use an ERP system
Understands medical terminology and products
Demonstrates knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment, and par-level concepts
Understanding of receiving processes and basic materials management
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and mail processing equipment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio, and other software packages
Ability to manage and organize tasks for success
