Responsibilities
Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, psychiatric units, discharge planners, insurance case managers, and step-up/step-down providers
Educate referral partners on TML’s Residential program and admission criteria
Support step-up and step-down referrals across levels of care
Coordinate closely with Admissions for timely follow-up
Track and prioritize Residential leads to support consistent bed fill
Maintain relationships with therapists, psychiatrists, PCPs, and community partners
Communicate program offerings and payer acceptance clearly
Support steady outpatient and IOP referral volume
Understand accepted insurance plans and referral pathways
Communicate eligibility and referral requirements
Identify and escalate referral barriers
Collaborate internally to improve workflows
Track outreach activity and referral sources
Monitor referral trends
Provide weekly updates on outreach activity, new relationships, and admissions impact
Residential referrals per week
Admissions and census impact
Active referral relationships
Outpatient/IOP referral trends
Conversion rates
Qualification
Required
1–3 years experience in healthcare or referral-based outreach
Strong relationship-building skills
Comfortable with phone, email, and in-person outreach
Organized and results-oriented
Preferred
Experience with Residential or IOP programs
Insurance referral system familiarity
CRM experience
