Insurance Solutions Specialist

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive account reviews and clearly explain insurance products and coverages
Process policy transactions and consult with policyholders to identify stated and unstated needs
Apply underwriting guidelines accurately for states where the company is licensed
Recommend and quote additional or increased coverage when appropriate
Respond to inquiries with timeliness, quality, and effectiveness
Review correspondence, request additional details, and draft written responses within service levels
Independently interpret and verify coverage and policy data
Document all interactions accurately across multiple systems
Adhere to Workforce Management requirements ( ~90% phone-based role )
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Serve as a peer resource and participate in meetings, training, and projects as assigned

Required

2–4 years of experience with an insurance carrier or agency
Must obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses and continuing education
Strong customer service, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills
Ability to take ownership, resolve issues, and navigate obstacles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and ability to use multiple systems/monitors
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support a collaborative team environment
