Responsibilities
Design and support mechanical components and sealed enclosures for industrial products
Provide hands-on support to resolve cross-functional issues related to functionality, assembly, cost, and schedules
Create innovative designs suitable for high-volume production
Define and oversee engineering tests to qualify product designs
Support product documentation and ongoing maintenance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
5+ years of mechanical design experience
Proficiency with Creo (Pro/Engineer) 3D CAD
Experience with SAP, DFM, DFA, and DFSS tools
Strong knowledge of thermoplastic molding and plastic part design
Understanding of NEMA / Ingress Protection standards
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
Preferred
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Experience designing industrial or electro-mechanical products (switches, sensors, connectors)
Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, machining, rapid prototyping, and injection molding
Familiarity with UL, CSA, IEC standards
Structural/thermal analysis experience
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
