InternCHRISTUS Health is providing a meaningful educational experience for college students through their internship program. The Intern will gain valuable experience in advocacy, grants, and community benefit while working on various projects and networking with CHRISTUS leaders.

Responsibilities
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
Review and draft advocacy-focused community benefit language to support organizational mission and stakeholder engagement
Research best practices for effective advocacy messaging within nonprofit organizations
Draft and refine clear, impactful language that communicates organizational mission and community benefit for external audiences
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of advocacy projects with organizational goals
Provide support for other advocacy projects, government grants and other initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of college preparation towards major
Currently enrolled in a College degree program in one of the following degree program; Journalism, Writing, Law, Government, Politics
PC and Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others
Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills
Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
