The Analyst in Master Data Governance will support the team in maintaining and enhancing master data quality across the organization, collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and consistent data governance processes.

Responsibilities
Create and update Master Data objects in SAP or Oracle Fusion EDM with a focus on data quality and consistency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business units, to support day-to-day Master Data operations
Analyze data quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve data integrity
Assist in implementing global Master Data Governance processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Perform periodic data clean-up activities, including identifying inactive data objects and assisting in their removal
Participate in the Master Data Governance Team’s internal process improvement and automation projects
Support internal and external auditors in testing internal controls related to Master Data Governance
Maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Master Data processes and create new ones when needed
Respond to inquiries and incidents related to Master Data, ensuring timely and precise resolution
Provide training to junior team members and help with onboarding by providing support and guidance
Attend meetings as a representative of Master Data Governance when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
2+ years of experience in data management, finance, or related roles
Basic knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
Deep proficiency in Excel and an ability to oversee data entry and analysis
Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and data integrity
Preferred
Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate successfully in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Interest in building a career in data governance and business analysis
