Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze daily metrics, production reports, KPI's and spending reports
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations
Assist with accounts payable and invoice processing
Monitor spend control to ensure compliance with budget and financial policies; report on cost savings/avoidances
Participate in quarterly physical inventories; backup to Plant Accounting Manager
Prepare standard costing for new items
Collaborate with plant and finance teams to ensure accurate financial records
Qualification
Required
Manufacturing / cost accounting experience required
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Five (5) years of related experience
Strong self-starter and ability to work independently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines with accurate and complete information
Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize responsibilities
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems
3-5 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in QAD and/or OneStream a plus, prior experience in AR and metal accounting preferred
Master's degree in Accounting preferred
