Responsibilities
You will own the QA validation of stories for Fieldwire’s Mobile Platforms, and ensure all our features are ready for production
You will be working directly with our Mobile teams to create and contribute UI tests, explore new features, and root out bugs or regressions
Testing new features developed during a given sprint
Writing new test cases to increase coverage, cataloging them in TestRail
Identify testability requirements, utilizing industry standards for manual testing
Working directly with mobile teams on planning, writing, and executing tests and include them in the release sign off process
Working directly with automation engineers to prioritize tests to automate and automated regression test coverage
Working with QA team and Engineer partners on building testing best practices for engineering
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working as a QA tester (engineer, analyst)
Experience in executing test cycles, reporting results and failures
Familiar with QA best practices, such as identifying test coverage, edge cases, exploratory testing, etc
Strong communications skills and attention to detail
Work experience in scrum teams with agile methodologies
Experience with testing on mobile devices and emulators via Android Studio and XCode
Preferred
Experience developing comprehensive test plans
Experience with mobile testing on both iOS and Android
Experience with Charles Proxy
Experience with benchmarking and profiling against mobile apps
