The Senior Structural Engineer will focus on the design and analysis of structural systems that support complex electrical and mechanical modules, ensuring their integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

Design structural systems supporting complex electrical and mechanical modules, including E-houses, mechanical skids, and packaged systems
Perform structural analysis for static, dynamic, seismic, wind, vibration, lifting, and transportation loads
Design steel and reinforced concrete frames, bases, foundations, and anchorage systems
Develop and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure structural compatibility
Support modularization strategies including shop fabrication, transport, lifting, and installation
Review vendor drawings and equipment data for structural impacts
Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC, OSHA, UFC where applicable)
Address safety-critical considerations including fatigue, redundancy, and progressive collapse
Support development of structural standards and best practices for modular systems
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews
Interface with fabricators, contractors, and external partners

Qualification

Structural EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseStructural analysis softwareModular construction experienceDesigning for lifting loadsMission-critical facilities experienceCollaborationTechnical leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
8+ years of structural engineering experience
Experience designing structures supporting electrical and mechanical equipment
Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, IDEA, StatiCa, Tedds, Mathcad)

Preferred

Experience with modular construction or skid-mounted systems
Experience designing for lifting and transportation loads
Experience in mission-critical facilities or industrial infrastructure
Familiarity with design-build or EPC delivery models
