Tokyo Electron US is seeking a Research Scientist Co-op to join their team. The role involves simulating mechanical and multi-physics processes in semiconductor technologies and creating advanced models to analyze results.

Responsibilities
Simulate mechanical and multi-physics processes in semiconductor 3D integration technologies by utilizing commercial and custom finite element software packages
Design and optimize mechanical elements using modeling results
Create advanced models to analyze simulation and experiment results
Qualification
Required
Attained or working towards a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or relevant field at the start of the position
Experienced using finite element software, e.g. Abaqus, Ansys, COMSOL, etc
Experienced in machine learning algorithms and programming software (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be fluent in English
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship
Preferred
Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes
Familiarity with applied statistical theories
Strong knowledge in advanced mathematics
