Administrative Manager
Rural Utah Child Development (RUCD) is seeking a highly organized, systems-minded, and people-centered administrative manager to support our Head Start program operations. This position plays a critical role in managing RUCD’s human resource systems, administrative software, employee documentation, payroll coordination, and compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and HR laws.
Individual & Family Services
Responsibilities
Managing all personnel systems related to hiring, training, evaluations, benefits, and terminations
Ensuring compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and HR laws
Overseeing administrative software for:
Hiring documentation
Time & attendance
Payroll & PTO tracking
Maintaining accurate employee documentation, including improvement plans and disciplinary records
Supporting staff wellness through communication systems and digital workspaces
Managing staff email systems and administrative communication tools
Coordinating with leadership for:
Payroll, reporting, and benefit administration
Attending pre-service training each August and other required trainings/meetings
Supporting cross-department collaboration and staff support initiatives
Performing additional administrative and compliance duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Skilled in administrative software and digital documentation systems
A clear communicator in both spoken and written formats
Able to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
Positive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented
