Research Specialist

Responsibilities
Execute protein extractions and analysis independently in analytical chemistry (20%)
Prepare and run analytical procedures on various instruments and research equipment (10%)
Operate and maintain lab equipment such Nitrogen analyzer (5%)
Keep detailed records of all experiments in laboratory notebooks, databases, and spreadsheets (5%)
Train other researchers on lab equipment, procedures and analysis (5%)
Perform general laboratory tasks including keeping track of supplies and ensuring the tidiness of lab benches (5%)
Qualification
Required
BSc in Food Science or related field
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, conducting composition analysis and protein related assays
