The Injection Molding Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of molded parts, ensuring they meet established specifications prior to being approved for production.

Responsibilities
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional in-process inspections according to established procedures
Accurately enter inspection results into SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems
Use measurement tools such as calipers, height gauges, dial gauges, and color vision systems to inspect molded parts
Document all inspections and quality alerts thoroughly
Identify and recognize defects in molded parts and communicate issues to Molding Technicians for corrective action
Proactively recommend and support implementation of quality, safety, and productivity improvements
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Molding Quality Lab
Write Material Hold Tickets to properly isolate and label rejected or suspect parts
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent education required
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely while maintaining a friendly and cooperative atmosphere
Must be well organized with good written and oral skills
Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to work well with multiple departments
Ability and desire to learn proper metrology and measuring practices
