Responsibilities
Work with key partners, such as other Product Managers, Merchandising, Digital Content Management, Engineering, Operations and more, to evolve our platform architecture
Shape the structure and boundaries of complex distributed systems by helping teams reason about architectural tradeoffs, grounding decisions in sound system design informed by underlying data structures and long-term scalability
Think deeply about data and domain modeling, separation of concerns, and architectural principles that enable long-term flexibility and minimize technical debt
Facilitate collaborative discovery and design sessions with cross-functional teams to explore concepts, align on approaches, and build shared understanding of complex problems and solutions
Dive into the details and help drive projects leading multi-functional efforts delivering platform upgrades and optimizing our tools and processes
Qualification
Required
7+ years Technical Product Management, Technical Program Management, and/or Engineering Management / solutions architects or engineering management
Strong technical fluency with the ability to engage deeply with software engineers on architectural patterns, data modeling, and system design concepts
Proven expertise in designing and delivering complex, large-scale, multi-tenant systems, including cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and highly available platforms
Track record of developing and delivering multi-year experience and capability roadmaps with complex interdependencies
Preferred
Prior Apple or Fortune 500 experience
