Responsibilities
Manage merchant services onboarding operations as part of the overall operations team and in conjunction with the greater Customer Success Group
Perform all tasks required to underwrite, board, and maintain new merchant accounts
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and administration of merchant accounts across multiple acquiring banks and platforms
Assist in the management of relationships with various partners involved in the Merchant Services operations
Review current processes and make recommendations for improvements as needed
May be involved in pre-sales merchant services demonstrations or providing assistance with scoping projects / developing proposals as they relate to the Merchant Services operations
Provide ongoing support, including answering questions and resolving any merchant issues
Be an internal Subject Matter Expert on payment card / merchant industry
Qualification
Required
2+ years managing merchant services operations
Deep experience with merchant underwriting, onboarding, and account maintenance
Strong writing, presentation, and telephone skills
Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Demonstrate initiative and skilled in anticipating and solving problems
5 + Years Experience with payment systems/Fintech industry
Preferred
Additional relevant education and/or certifications a plus
Enthusiastic about payments & technology and enjoys customer service roles
