Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to provide timely and effective solutions

Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools and supplies

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests

Required

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Preferred

Associate degree or higher in engineering, facilities management, or a related discipline

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Certification in safety standards such as OSHA or equivalent

Previous experience working in a hotel or large accommodation facility

Basic knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices
