Responsibilities
Ensure patient accounts are handled accurately and thoroughly, with the goal of collecting the highest possible reimbursement on every billed account
Work closely with branch teams while proactively following up with all payers to ensure timely and complete payment
Manage claims across primary, secondary, tertiary, and any additional payers, as well as guarantors, for services provided
Handle accounts involving commercial insurance such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a call center environment
Minimum of 1 years' experience in the medical industry/ familiarity with medical terminology (preferably with DME and Home Healthcare)
High-school diploma or GED
