InternCHRISTUS Health is seeking a Student Intern for their Legal Services Department, providing a meaningful educational experience for law students interested in healthcare law. The Intern will work on various projects related to regulatory compliance, transactions, and litigation while gaining exposure to legal and operational issues in health systems.

Responsibilities
Work on a variety of projects to support learning objectives in areas of the law such as regulatory compliance, transactions, and litigation
Attend meetings with members of the CHRISTUS Health Legal Services Department to gain exposure to day-to-day legal and operational issues
Communications with CHRISTUS Health leaders and associates within other departments to better understand the cross functional departments of CHRISTUS Health operations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school pursuing a J.D. or enrolled in an L.L.M. program concentrating on health law
Demonstrated interest in healthcare law
PC and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others
Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills
Resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Enrolled in a J.D. or health-related L.L.M. program at an accredited law school
