Responsibilities
Represent employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare settlement documents
Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required
Analyze complex legal and factual issues to advise clients effectively
Negotiate and resolve claims in a client-centered, efficient manner
Manage caseload independently while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
Maintain detailed communication and reporting with clients and colleagues
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar required
2+ years of workers' compensation defense experience (required; other practice areas not accepted)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficient in technology and adaptable to a paperless workflow
Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
