Deloitte is seeking a strategic, creative-minded sponsorship marketer to lead their Olympic & Paralympic content and integrated marketing activation across the US. This role involves setting the activation strategy, managing cross-functional execution, and driving measurable impact across various channels while ensuring compliance with brand safety and intellectual property rights.

Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end Olympic & Paralympic content and integrated marketing strategy: set the annual activation approach, prioritize initiatives, and ensure activations ladder to brand, client, and practitioner objectives
Architect cross-channel programs across owned, paid, earned, and property channels; ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all materials and moments
Shape the multi-year roadmap (e.g., LA28 lead-up), balancing 'always-on' storytelling with tentpole moments, and translating strategy into an actionable annual plan
Lead US activation planning in partnership with global sponsorship stakeholders, ensuring relevance of global initiatives in the US and maximizing both contractual and incremental activation across owned, paid, property, and earned media
Manage contractors, agency resources or other team members
Own key property relationships and marketing team cadence: lead ongoing status calls with the Olympic and Paralympic organizations and internal teams
Oversee contractual assets, directly manage marketing-related assets, and drive decisions with internal stakeholders
Lead collaboration with Deloitte Sports Practice and other internal teams to understand current and future work with sports organizations and apply insights into activation plans
Partner across the firm to maximize impact with strong governance across measurement, brand safety, and approvals—working with data storytelling, risk, legal, and other key stakeholders
Collaborate with Talent and Internal Comms teams regarding employee engagement strategy and delivery in the lead-up to and during the Olympic & Paralympic Games
Align Olympic and Paralympic activation with broader Deloitte priorities by partnering with Purpose and Commercialization teams to integrate campaigns, reinforce the Deloitte brand, and improve efficiency across efforts
Integrate marketing and sponsorship messaging into hospitality programming in partnership with sponsorship hospitality and operations leaders
Oversee development of Deloitte creative, messaging, and placements across internal and external channels, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment to activation objectives
Direct paid media planning support with media teams/agencies to develop, implement, and measure paid plans across digital, social, broadcast, and other placements
Lead earned media coordination with Public Relations (PR), including press release strategy and timing aligned to key moments
Develop and oversee athlete strategy and asset programming in the US, including identification and negotiation with athletes/agents as needed
Own the measurement and reporting narrative for Deloitte’s Olympic & Paralympic sponsorships, quantifying, assessing, and showcasing impact across activation and placements
Establish a consistent executive reporting cadence and provide regular updates to senior leaders on performance tracking, key learnings, and recommended optimizations
Serve as a leader of sponsorship insights, continuously improving best practices, monitoring the sponsorship landscape, and mapping insights into actions that elevate Deloitte’s approach
Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for Olympic & Paralympic rights management and lead approvals governance across the team to enable compliant, brand-safe activation
Develop deep understanding of rights, designations, and considerations for Olympic & Paralympic relationships
Act as an internal champion and liaison to help teams across Deloitte leverage sponsorship properties appropriately within rights
Accountable for the team to coordinate and track reviews of creative and copy assets using sponsorship intellectual property, both internally and externally
Oversee Olympic & Paralympic Rights Management manager
Support other sponsorship marketing initiatives, including cross-sponsorship and sponsorship-specific concepting, presentation development, sweepstakes concepting and rules development, athlete alignment recommendations and negotiations, and coordination of executive speaking engagements (and other priority items as assigned)
Flex across the sponsorship portfolio as needed, supporting marketing & advertising around other sponsorships (e.g., basketball, golf, tennis, soccer), hospitality, and employee engagement
Qualification
Required
Minimum 12 years of experience in sports or sponsorship marketing
Deep knowledge and experience with Olympic & Paralympic Movement
Experience with sponsorship property reviews/approvals and hands-on experience with integrated marketing campaigns
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional workstreams; strong strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, writing, and executive-ready PowerPoint
Experience directly managing integrated marketing campaigns
Passion for sponsorship, brand and/ or marketing disciplines
High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex threads of work
Ability to work in a virtual environment. This is a remote-first position; however, travel will be required for team meetings, activations at sports events, sponsor summits, and other relevant meetings and events
