Quality Manager

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) consistent with AS9100/ISO9001 and other applicable standards
Establish quality strategy, goals, KPIs, and metrics aligned with business objectives
Oversee quality planning for manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test processes
Define and drive a QA strategy that is aligned to mission use cases, workflows, and operational scenarios
Monitor the quality of investigations and RCCA (Root Cause/Corrective Action)
Ensure implementation of corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances
Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits
Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and DevOps teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle
Train and mentor team members on quality standards, processes, and best practices
Serve as the primary quality representative to leadership, suppliers, and customers

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
8+ years of progressive experience in Quality within aerospace and defense manufacturing
2+ years of leadership experience managing Quality teams
Experience with root cause analysis, FMEA, and risk management tools
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related standards
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in quality processes and documentation
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred

Education: Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in Quality within aerospace and defense manufacturing
5+ years of leadership experience managing Quality teams
Experience in both hardware quality and software quality domains. Familiarity with the AS9115 standard is a plus
Strong experience leading audits, MRB, CAPA, and supplier quality programs
AS9100/ISO9001 certified including lead auditor and implementer certifications
Familiarity with spacecraft assembly, integration, and test processes
