Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) is seeking a motivated Co-Op to assist in the development, maintenance, and support of applications for the nuclear industry. This role offers hands-on experience with modern software development tools and involvement in agile development teams, contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs
Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing using C#, .NET, and Angular
Assist in SQL Server database development and troubleshooting
Analyze and resolve application and system issues reported through our Service Desk
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to work defined by user stories
Document code changes and support application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps

Qualification

Required

Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and web technologies
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Benefits

Each co-op is eligible for an end of the semester performance bonus.
Co-ops participate in mid-semester touch points to review their progress in the program and personal areas of strength and areas for improvement.
At the end of each semester there is a formal review where performance bonuses are given out.
