Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, credentials, and delivery documentation, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs
Screen inbound and outbound traffic by coordinating with dock and yard personnel, monitoring gate activity, and reporting suspicious or unauthorized access attempts to help to deter incidents
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting first responder actions as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yards, and perimeter, monitoring doors, docks, and restricted areas, and reporting hazards, damage, and irregular conditions
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1+ years of security experience
Be at least 21+ years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
Have customer service experience
