They are seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer to act as the main point of contact for engineering support and deployment services for a highly sensitive customer.

Responsibilities

Act as company contact in the field with customer and contractor personnel, exercising a high degree of tact, diplomacy and mature judgment, conforming to company policy directions with a minimum of supervision
Ensure understanding and support for all customer needs specific to their use case and environment
Prepare and conduct special reports and presentations pertinent to company products and services, field operations or other applications
Completes testing and integration support for changes to the customer environment and ensures compatibility with all products
Provides dedicated support to the program and program office
Troubleshoots all helpdesk tickets and questions raised by the customer and other integrators

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 8 years of experience supporting IT deployments or service delivery contracts in end-user or customer environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years experience working directly with and supporting end users in an IC environment
Minimum of 5 years experience implementing and staffing IT deployment teams, operations, help desks and other customer support functions
Able to understand large scale network solutions and configurations (VPNs, Firewalls, diodes, IP plans)
Strong analytical/problem solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems
High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven
Experience coordinating with a small team to troubleshoot, debug and work end user issues to resolution
Experience independently working with and supporting end users in an IC environment
Active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred

Strong familiarity with cross-domain systems and / or virtualization and VDI environments (Citrix, VMWare)
Knowledgeable of issues related to system installs in Intelligence community and DOD intelligence sites, including site sensitivities as well as highly demanding user and site managers
