Social Media Marketing Intern
Responsibilities
Execute marketing strategies at community events, leagues, training sessions, and tournaments
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to achieve marketing goals
Coordinate the content calendar, scheduling posts, and ensuring timely publication across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok)
Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments, messages, and mentions
Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to inform content and strategy
Help create and curate high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts
Track and analyze social media performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights for improvement
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute media days, social media campaigns and promotions
Assist with influencer outreach and partnership coordination
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work on weekends
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Sports Management or a related field
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creative and detail-oriented mindset
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) required
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Photography experience (sports or event photography a plus)
Videography and video editing skills
Advanced graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, motion graphics, etc.)
