Responsibilities
Remain calm in stressful and emotional situations while confidently interacting with clients in person and on the phone
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks such as:
Greeting clients and patients
Data entry
Requesting and sending medical records
Managing a multi-line phone system
Processing payments
Accurately scheduling appointments
Performing other administrative duties as needed
Communicate effectively with clients and medical staff, which is essential in this role
Possess a genuine love for animals and a welcoming demeanor
Show empathy, compassion, and provide reassurance to worried pet owners, which is crucial in this role
Qualification
Required
High school diploma and a minimum of one year of customer service related work experience
Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records; effective working knowledge of MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator
Preferred
One year veterinary reception experience is preferred, however not required!
