Akkodis is seeking a QE Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. This role requires a QE Automation Engineer with mandatory Spanish proficiency and strong expertise in Core Java‑based test automation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for UI and backend APIs using Core Java, Selenium, and RestAssured
Ensure maximum automation coverage by creating test plans, test scripts, and automation jobs through TestNG/Maven
Monitor automated test executions, analyze failures, log defects, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely resolution
Utilize Git, Postman, gRPC, SQL/NoSQL (Cassandra), and Splunk queries to support end‑to‑end testing and troubleshooting
Report daily QA status and product quality metrics to stakeholders, providing clear insights and risk assessments
Maintain functional knowledge and documentation to ensure accurate test coverage and support ongoing project visibility

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Demonstrated ability to create automation jobs, analyze failures, work with tools like Postman/gRPC/Splunk, and report QA status to stakeholders
