Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive analysis and technical support for a large, distributed Java-based system
Resolving complex problems across the full software lifecycle—design, development, testing, integration, and user support
Adhering to detailed specifications to modify or extend functionality within an extensive code base
Collaborating on system design
Conducting benchmark testing
Debugging
Producing thorough documentation
Working closely with other support teams to troubleshoot issues
Establishing standards
Enhancing overall system efficiency
Designing, coding, testing, and deploying automation tools that streamline operations and improve reliability

Required

Must have a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
Ability to provide comprehensive analysis and technical support for a large, distributed Java-based system
Experience resolving complex problems across the full software lifecycle—design, development, testing, integration, and user support
Ability to adhere to detailed specifications to modify or extend functionality within an extensive code base
Experience collaborating on system design, conducting benchmark testing, debugging, and producing thorough documentation
Ability to work closely with other support teams to troubleshoot issues, establish standards, and enhance overall system efficiency
Experience designing, coding, testing, and deploying automation tools that streamline operations and improve reliability
Willingness to travel around 10% to customer sites throughout the U.S

Preferred

Security+ or equivalent desired
Active TS Clearance is desired
Experience working as part of an Agile team
Familiarity with Java Spring
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker/Kubernetes
Knowledge of server side development and message passing
Experience developing enterprise applications
Good working knowledge of MS Office products
Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking
Use of common software development and management tools such as git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven or Gradle and Eclipse
Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as Use Cases and UML diagrams
