Training Specialist

Responsibilities

Deliver customized training to clients using virtual one-on-one sessions, virtual workshops, webinars, and onsite client visits
Assist in developing and continuously updating training curricula and materials using Microsoft Office Suite to align with software releases and client needs
Apply adult learning principles to ensure effective knowledge transfer
Assess client needs before and after training to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the products
Provide recommendations for database improvements and product features based on best practices
Make independent travel arrangements when onsite training is required
Ability to apply nonprofit concepts to various product use cases to increase client utilization of the products
Contribute to the SofterWare University team by reviewing content and facilitating training sessions for new employees

Required

Strong customer service orientation, building and maintaining client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to actively listen, build trust, and adapt communication styles and tactics to fit the client or colleague
Proven presentation skills, demonstrating confidence and expertise in front of small and large groups
Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Effective time management and scheduling of multiple training assignments
Proficiency with standard work applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving client issues

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years of experience facilitating software training; experience with DonorPerfect or SaaS solutions is a plus
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector is desired but not required
