Responsibilities
Lead execution of instrumentation engineering projects and best practices
Document all engineering solutions and designs
Lead technical design reviews
Work cross-functionally to support program/project plans and integrate with key stakeholders
Lead Cost-Effective Verification and Validation methods
Guide teams that design test hardware, software, and systems to achieve test program objectives
Provide oversight on Test Program deliverables to the customer
Develop baselines and manage changes to Statement Of Work, Requirements, Cost, Schedule, Risk/Issues/Opportunities, and Supply Chain
Lead development and approval of Estimates/Proposals
Manage communications of plan and performance to plan across stakeholder teams
Facilitate with execution teams to drive performance to plan
Proactively work under minimal direction and train/mentor others
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
20 years of engineering design experience
Proficient with project management
Experience with Integrated Test Vehicle (ITV) design
Experience with Airplane Systems instrumentation and Wind Tunnel instrumentation
Proficient with common drafting tools such as MS Visio, Zuken, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc
Proficient with instrumentation sensors and data/control acquisition systems
Proficient with hydraulic and airplane electrical systems
System engineering expertise
Proficient with LabVIEW and NI hardware
Preferred
M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Understanding of electromagnetic interference
Experience with PLC and close-loop control
