Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist for their Delivery Experience team, focused on enhancing customer delivery information across Amazon's platforms. Responsibilities
Research and implement Optimization, ML and Gen-AI techniques to create scalable and effective models in Delivery Experience (DEX) systems
Design and develop optimization models and reinforcement learning models to improve quality of same-day selections
Apply LLM technology to empower CX features
Establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis and causal inference
Qualification
Required
PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields
PhD in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent
3+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Experience in state-of-the-art deep learning models architecture design and deep learning training and optimization and model pruning
Preferred
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
