Branch Manager
Credit Union of Texas is seeking a Branch Manager to develop a highly effective team that meets or exceeds sales and service goals. The Branch Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all credit union services and activities of the branch while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining the security of the facility.

Responsibilities
Develop each team member through coaching and training to meet or exceed sales and service standards
Review and evaluate reports of store activities, including staffing, loans, deposits, overdrafts, charge-offs, and audits to meet credit union performance objectives. Leverage management tools to reports to analyze, identify and strategically address trends
Meet with each team member regularly to review performance and hold team member accountable to the sales and service goals established by leadership
Lead sales training meetings for store employees
Responsible for meeting or exceeding store sales and service goals
Conduct annual performance evaluations
Administer corrective action when necessary, including termination, to hold team members accountable for their performance and behavior
Identify exceptional talent through the credit union’s hiring process and makes recommendations for advancement, promotion or other internal opportunities
Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long term objectives. Performs job duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures. This includes compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets Control and USA Patriot Act as they apply to the duties of the position
Assign and/or delegate daily work assignments to all store team members
Accept responsibility for the overall security of the store, including keys, combinations, documents, records and negotiable items
Manage expenses within an approved budget and authorize the payment of branch bills
Serve as Notary Public and perform Signature Guarantee
Receive and respond to member feedback
Work closely with Business Development to ensure growth opportunities within the community
Promote strategic initiatives and objectives throughout the Credit Union to help meet set goals
Enhance organization wide communication
Motivate fellow staff to meet or exceed set goals
Seek to understand and appreciate different perspectives and employee feedback from other departments
May perform other duties as required to maintain credit union services and operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience and certifications
Minimum 4-6 years related experience in financial institution environment or equivalent preferred
Character built on integrity and sincerity; relatable
Effective verbal communication and written communication skills
Tact and diplomacy when communicating with internal and external members
Must have the ability to multi-task and work under the pressure of deadlines
Cognitive thinking, problem-solving skills and sound decision-making
Excellent member-centric skills
Ability to maintain an attitude of positivity, teamwork and cooperation with internal members
Goal oriented and ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to consistently coach and develop team members
Basic mathematical skills as it relates to the financial industry
Competence with computer programs, telephone, 10-key calculator and other office machinery
