Responsibilities
Handles racking, building, cabling, configuring, and provisioning of servers in data center environments
Deploys Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment while maintaining proper cabling standards and port mapping accuracy
Performs hardware testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance to ensure optimal server performance
Resolves hardware-related issues through structured trouble‑ticket workflows with professionalism
Follows safety protocols while managing physical tasks such as lifting equipment and working on ladders for extended periods
Supports basic networking tasks and remains ready for travel based on operational requirements
Qualification
Required
Minimum high‑school education with a solid understanding of computer hardware fundamentals
Strong hands‑on background in server handling, cabling, and basic data center operations
Proven ability to rack, cable, troubleshoot, and provision server hardware while adhering to safety practices in data center environments
Demonstrated capability to manage Cisco Layer 2 equipment deployment and apply logical methods for hardware diagnostics and resolution
