Responsibilities
Perform data analysis of defect occurrences
Work with other functions to determine the root cause of the issue
Present mitigations and corrective actions
Support the Stratford CT site Backshops product center teams
Participate in continuous improvement events such as value stream mapping, 3P, Kaizen, and other Quality Engineering support as assigned
Assist with auditing / compliance activities
Participate in preparation of the Corrective Action Board
Assist with inputs to leadership meetings as required
Work with cross-functional peers to drive actions to closure
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Quality, Industrial, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action development, and project management of action plans
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel and Word
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred
Knowledge of Quality or Supply Chain processes or Engineering or Program/Project Management degree in process, will help the candidate be successful
Knowledge of Data analytics (preferably Tableau)
Knowledge of Solidworks
