OFFICE MANAGER ADMINISTRATOR II
The State of Maryland's Office of the Attorney General is seeking an Administrator II to serve as an Office Manager within the Maryland Department of Health. This role is responsible for overseeing operational, administrative, and fiscal activities, ensuring efficient operations and resource management for the unit.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage the office’s budget, including preparation of annual and quarterly projections and approval of expenditures
Manage the allocation of costs to appropriate units within the Maryland Department of Health
Manage the use of the corporate purchasing card assigned to the OAG, including the preparation of the monthly reconciliations
Manage vendor accounts supporting the operation of the unit
Responsible for personnel management activities to include onboarding and offboarding of staff, oversight of timekeeping, leave usage, and reports
Develop and implement technology plans and policies, including updating software and hardware and ensuring compliance
Arrange for necessary training to meet technical advances
Monitor compliance with all mandatory training for unit employees
Supervise 6 support professionals, including assignment of duties, management of schedules, and completion of performance reviews
Coordinate various projects within the office, including annual data and physical inventories
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
Five years of administrative or professional experience
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, and demonstrate initiative in identifying and solving problems as they arise
Strong interpersonal skills are essential
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Budget management and fiscal administration experience
Supervisory experience in a legal or professional office setting
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor accounts supporting office operations
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
