Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and associates at a front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies
Manage access control for a logistics and distribution location by screening visitors, issuing badges, maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing guests to the appropriate contact
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary post and report unusual activity through established escalation channels
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed
Support inbound and outbound operations by verifying delivery appointments, checking identification for pickups and drop-offs, and communicating with dock staff to help to deter unauthorized access
Qualification
Required
Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience
Type at least 40 WPM
Be at least 21+ years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
