Core Publishing Solutions Business Development Intern – Summer 2026
Thomson Reuters is a global leader in providing trusted content and technology solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in driving sales through lead generation and sales campaigns, while developing a rigorous pipeline and coordinating with the Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development, execution and measurement of sales campaigns designed to increase target market leads and drive sales for Thomson Reuters Core Publishing Solutions
Sell Thomson Reuters’ Core Publishing Solutions services on outbound calls using a consultative and solutions-based sales approach
Actively coordinate with the Business Development Manager to maintain, develop, and grow a rigorous pipeline, with accurate forecasting
Actively prospect for new sales opportunities with tools such as LinkedIn and HubSpot Marketing system and Google Analytics through our dedicated website
Capture and record customer information and sales activity data into Salesforce.com (CRM)
Assume other responsibilities as required by management
Qualification
Required
Are a 3rd or 4th year (preferred) student in business, sales & marketing or a related field
Have previous sales experience
Have proven oral and written communication skills
Exhibit strong analytical and quantitative skills
Planning and project management skills
Ability to take direction on projects
Ability to adapt well to change in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams
Preferred
Experience with Google Analytics, Sales Force, HubSpot, WordPress a plus
