Sales Manager - Transient
Hyatt Regency is focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences for guests. The Sales Manager for Individual and Airline Travel will be responsible for managing relationships with national accounts, local accounts, and airline crews, while identifying new business opportunities and handling contract negotiations.

Responsibilities
Serve as the lead point of contact for your partners
Identify new business opportunities with both existing and new customers
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients
Prepare and present effective proposals and presentations
Maintain well organized documentation and reports
Utilize Hyatt technology systems
Coordinate customer service requirements with hotel operations staff as appropriate
Participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings
Work as a team member with the sales and catering staff and with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff
Qualification
Required
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Agency 360, Cvent
Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded
Preferred
A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
