Responsibilities
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies within an industrial location, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated check-in areas
Complete reports and logs, monitor alarms and/or cameras where assigned, and communicate observations and concerns to appropriate contacts in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
Customer Service Experience is preferred
