Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of the overall HR and people strategy, ensuring Total Rewards programs directly enable business priorities, growth, and financial outcomes
Design, develop, and lead a multi-year Total Rewards strategy (compensation, benefits, and programs) aligned with company philosophy, values, and talent strategy
Design, implement, and govern a best-in-class compensation framework, including job architecture, market pricing, incentive plans, and pay governance to ensure competitiveness, equity, and compliance
Design, develop, and execute an enterprise benefits strategy across insured, self-insured, retirement, and policy-based programs, balancing cost, competitiveness, and employee experience
Accountable for Total Rewards budgets, including benefits, incentive programs, and long-term financial forecasting and modeling
Lead, develop, and manage Compensation and Benefits teams, ensuring high-quality execution, analytical rigor, and strategic impact
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, HR Business Partners, and Operations to align rewards strategy
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other federal and state regulations
Oversee audits, vendor performance, and governance processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
Serve as a key member of governance bodies such as the Retirement Plan Committee, providing oversight of 401(k) and non-qualified deferred compensation plans
Lead or support enterprise projects, committees, and initiatives related to rewards strategy
Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and subject-matter expert to the CHRO and senior leadership team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with deep expertise in compensation and benefits
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong executive presence and strategic mindset
Financial acumen and business partnering skills
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and influencing skills
Preferred
Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
Center of Excellence (COE) operating model
Large-scale retail or multi-unit environments
Advanced analytics, workforce modeling, and executive reporting
