Responsibilities

Interface with clients to improve system performance
Support preparation of scopes of work, manage client and projects
Support preparation of technical and cost proposals
Support preparation for and make interview presentations
Develop mathematical models
Prepare and support power system studies for AC and DC electrified railway systems
Prepare and support computer simulations and studies including AC and DC load flow, short-circuit availability, motor-starting, and protective relay coordination studies
Support site investigations in substations and along railroad tracks
Prepare and deliver technical papers to industry
Prepare and develop detailed designs for projects at various levels of design including feasibility studies, conceptual, preliminary and final designs, commissioning and testing

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience
Master's degree in Engineering and 9 years of relevant experience
PhD in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience
Advanced technical writing and public speaking skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Engineering
15 years relevant experience
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification (depending on discipline)
