Responsibilities
Design and develop web-based applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks
Build and maintain RESTful services and microservices
Develop responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform user interfaces
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications
Strong experience with Java/J2EE technologies
Expertise in Core Java, including multithreading and concurrency
Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis
Strong front-end skills with Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
Strong SQL skills including database design and performance tuning
Experience deploying and supporting microservices in AWS
Familiarity with modern developer tools and AI-assisted coding workflows
Solid understanding of web application security best practices
Preferred
Experience in Property & Casualty insurance systems
Knowledge of non-functional requirements such as scalability and performance tuning
